Creating funds can be very important if you are looking to raise money for a particular event.
NOTE: Only Church admin can create funds
1. In the Churchtalk web app, click on "Giving" and select "Dashboard"
2. Under the Dashboard, the "Add fund" option will be on the top right corner.
3. Click on "Add fund", this will bring up a new window where you can add the following details and create the fund
- Name: Give a name for the fund
- Tax Exempted: If there is Tax exemption on this fund, you can check the box, else uncheck it
- Duration: This will be the time till which you wish to keep the fund active. You can select 1 month, 2 months, 1 year and Lifetime
- Notes: Add the details about the fund that is created so that the members know why the fund is being raised.
4. Click on "Save" to activate the fund. Members will now be able to contribute towards the fund.
